Tyler Gunn Captures First FAST on Dirt Victory at MCS!
(August 2, 2025) On Saturday night, the FAST on Dirt 410 Sprint tour ventured to Muskingum County Speedway for the annual running of the 'Louis Morosco Memorial.' Tyler Gunn would finally break into the FAST on Dirt win column - leading all 30 laps - to score the win. Gunn was the 2020 tour champion, despite not winning a race that season. The long awaited trip to FAST victory lane was a popular one.

Tour point leader, Ricky Peterson, got the yellow he needed to close the gap around the mid-race point, but Gunn proved to be the best on this night leaving Peterson the runner-up. Jordan Ryan finished an incredible third place after a long night getting another car ready after the Millstream crash less than 24 hours prior. Mitch Harble and Bryan Nuckles rounded out the top five in the $4,000 to win event. | full story

Jim Dunn Memorial to Pay $10,000 to Win on September 13
(July 28, 2025) Officials with the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP have announced the addition of the 43rd Annual Jim Dunn Memorial to the 2025 schedule at Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio scheduled for Saturday September 13, 2025. The event will pay $10,000-to-win and $500-to start the 40-lap feature. The feature will boast a feature purse in excess of $40,000 which will see 24 starters in the main event. This will also be a Valvoline Weekend Allstars-points event.

The event honors the late Jim Dunn who passed away on May 8, 1983, at Paducah International Raceway in a racing accident during a NDRA-sanctioned event. Dunn was a school teacher and racer from Roseville, Ohio who captured the inaugural 1982 Dirt Track World Championship at the famed Pennsboro (W.V.) Speedway. Dunn’s incredible 23rd to first victory in the event would solidify his place in the racing record books. May 6, 1983, in front of an enthusiastic hometown crowd at his home track in St. Clairsville, Ohio, Dunn would capture his final racing victory. | full story

O'Neal Claims Second Freedom 60 Title in Three Years!!
(July 5, 2025) Hudson O’Neal started sixth. He passed race leader Jonathan Davenport on lap 44 to win the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presented by FloRacing, Freedom 60 on Saturday night at Muskingum County Speedway. O’Neal’s third series victory of the season paid $25,000 from a total purse of over $82,000. (Heath Lawson Photo)

Davenport crossed the finish line in second, just 0.515 seconds behind O’Neal, but he failed post-race tech when his droop limiter chain was not tight, which moved him to 25th place in the finishing order.

Garrett Alberson, who finished third, moved up to second in the final rundown. Brandon Sheppard, the previous night’s winner at Atomic and the leader for the first 8 laps of the 60-lap main event, rounded out the Big River Steel Podium in third. | full story

Bradley Galedrige Takes 305 Sprint Checkers at MCS!
(June 14, 2025) Polesitter Bradley Galedrige came out on top of the Ohio Thunder IMCA Racesaver Sprint Car Series show earlier tonight at Muskingum County Speedway! Bradley picked up the checkered flag in the 305 Sprint Car feature this evening over a top five that included runner-up Wyatt Justice, Jaylynn Montgomery, Dean Barnes, and Dylan Troyer. Other winners tonight included Nathon Loney (Super Late Model), Lincoln Smith (RUSH 604 Crate Late Model), Jess Hartman (Open Wheel Modified), Christopher Wise (4-Cylinder), and Carson Hubbard (Mod-Lite).

R.J. Conley Captures $5,000 Payday in Ronnie Moran Memorial!

With over 145 cars on the grounds in five divisions, the top money class was the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP which paid $5,000-to-win and was captured by Wheelersburg, Ohio native R.J. Conley. This would be Conley’s second-career series victory. His last series victory came on May 10, 1997, at the now Atomic Speedway, formerly K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio. | full story

Todd Brennan Claims $2,000 for Super Late Model Win!
(May 17, 2025) Polesitter Todd Brennan, of Zanesville, Ohio, emerged victorious earlier tonight at Muskingum County Speedway to pocket $2,000 for the Super Late Model win! Todd beat fifth-starting Tyler Carpenter, Tripp Gerrald, Steve Prince, and Ron Hall. Other winners on the Schools Out for the Summer weekly show at MCS tonight were Nathon Loney (Open Wheel Modifieds), Kyle Zimmerman (RUSH 604 Crate Late Models), Jake Bowman (Mod Lites), and Christopher Wise (4-Cylinders). Bryce Lucius Pockets $4,000 in MCS Season Opener!!
(April 26, 2025) Third-starting Bryce Lucius captured the $4,000 top prize earlier tonight in the 2025 season lid lifter at Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio! Bryce beat AJ Flick, Tim Shaffer, Michael Bauer, Cole Duncan to the checkered flag in the 30-lap FAST on Dirt 410 Sprint Car headliner.
